Where could I drop off documents for the borough office?
There is a drop box located just past the ramp at the Adamstown Area Library parking lot labeled ‘Adamstown Drop Box’.
How could I obtain a permit application?
Permit applications can be downloaded from our borough website under the ‘Permits & Forms’ tab on the Home page. Hard copies can also be found in the foyer of the borough office.

Fire Department
Why does a fire truck show up when I call for EMS?
In the case of life-threatening emergency, we will dispatch a fire truck along with an EMS unit to provide extra assistance since all of our personnel are trained to provide at least Basic Life Support.
What is allowable burning in the Borough?
Open burning shall be allowed without prior notification to the code official for recreational fires (an outdoor fire utilized to cook food for human consumption), highway safety flares, smudge pots and similar occupational needs.
Parks & Recreation
How do I rent the Grove?
The park or “grove” is at the west end of town, between the swimming pool and elementary school. This is a public park open to all. There is a kitchen, pavilion and restrooms, all handicap accessible, that are available to rent for reunions or picnics for a non-refundable fee of $100 which is required to be paid in full at the time of the reservation. Please contact the borough office for more information on reservations and available dates.
