Get Involved!
Adamstown Borough has numerous ways to get involved. Click here for more information!

Adamstown Community Pool
The community pool is located on West Main Street and is run by the Adamstown YMCA. The facility is public and patrons can purchase an annual membership or pay the daily admittance fee. The pool typically opens on the Saturday before Memorial Day and is open seven days a week (12:00 - 8:00 pm) until closing day on Labor Day. Please contact the YMCA at 717-484-4496 for more information.

Community Park
The park or "grove" is at the west end of town, between the swimming pool and elementary school. This is a public park open to all. There is a kitchen, pavilion and restrooms, all handicap accessible, that are available to rent for reunions or picnics for a non-refundable fee of $100. Payment is due at the time of the reservation.  There is also a $10.00 deposit collected when the grove keys are picked up.  The deposit will be refunded upon return of the keys.  Please contact the Borough office for available dates.

Memorial Park
This park is located at the intersection of Adamstown road and West Main Street, below the elementary school and is owned by the Borough, but has been developed into a memorial park by the Adamstown Lions Club. The club maintains the park for the enjoyment of area residents.

Tennis Courts
The Borough has two tennis courts, west of the swimming pool facility. You can access the courts through the pool parking area. The courts are open to the public and used on a first-come, first serve basis.

Walking Trails
The Borough maintains several walking trails in the swimming pool/grove area. The trails lead from the grove, around the swimming pool, through the woods to Stoudtburg Road. Another branch of the trail will be added in the near future connecting it to Route 272.

Adamstown Area Library
This facility recently found a new home in the Borough building at Route 272 and Poplar Street.  The Library is run by the Library Board and financially supported through the fundraising efforts of the Friends of the Adamstown Area Library.  The Library is open Monday-Thursday 9:30am-8pm, Friday 9:30am-5:00pm and Saturday 9:30am-1:00pm.

The Library is part of the Lancaster Library System and as such has access to many, many volumes of books and publications. The Library has Internet access and has several computers available to patrons.  The Library also offers programs throughout the year such as preschool story hour, literacy programming and instructional/craft programs.  Please pick up a monthly newsletter at the Library or contact them by phone at 484-4200.

Adamstown YMCA
This facility is a branch of the YMCA of Reading and Berks County. It is located at 71 East Main Street and runs and/or sponsors numerous programs throughout the year. The building has a basketball/volleyball court, game room, meeting room, and weight room. The building is available for birthday parties, family reunions, etc. Recent renovations provided additional improved parking areas, locker room facilities, and gymnasium.
